Hi! My name is Missy and I'm originally from the great state of Missouri. I am a quiet, sweet, gentle senior girl of about 9 years old. I am so good that people tell me I must have been loved very much once. But I ended up in a shelter in Missouri. The nice lady there wanted me to enjoy my golden years in a real home with a real family that I could call my own. Then something amazing happened! Nice folks with Pueblo Collie/Sheltie Rescue of "Collie-rado" saw my photo. They must have thought I was a cute, because they arranged for me to come to Colorado. I am in Colorado now in a foster home and I like it very much but I would rather have a forever home with my own family. Life is good! PCSR tells me that they help sweet seniors too because we deserve it .

Many avenues are available to assist collie rescue organizations near you or nationally through the Collie Rescue Foundation. Of course, monetary donations are always needed and appreciated to help pay for spay/neuter, worming, heartworm treatment and preventative, vaccinations, surgeries, and food. There are, however, many ways to assist rescue such as donating supplies, offering to foster, helping to transport, as well as offering services and expertise.
