STUD DOGS -- CH. ROW-BAR'S SOUTHERN HERITAGE HT
Comment on successful outcrosses as represented in the stud's pedigree.
Clayton is the product of a very successful outcross and so is his dam. Both outcrosses produced CCA Award of Merit winners: Monique, Clayton and Lance.

Ch. Signet's Whispering Wind Song, dam of
the 2000 CCA Smooth WB and Best Puppy.

Talk about outcrosses with your stud dog, if any.
Clayton has four show-age litters on the ground which have produced nine champions, so far. The closest to an outcross was to Ch. Signet's Family Secrets, "Whisper," who produced three champions, including the dam of this year's (2000) CCA Smooth Winners Bitch and Best Puppy. Whisper's maternal Grandfather was Ch. Foxbrides McLaughlan.

Ch. Signet Beltane's Hot Rumors

Comment on the virtues of the stud dog's get.
Clayton's get, in the aforementioned four litters, have lean clean heads with no depth and good head planes, filled in backskulls, beautiful expressions, and very sound bodies. We feel, in several of his puppies, he has produced better than himself.

Ch. Row-Bar's Southern Dream HIC

Other comments about the get, including conformation qualities, temperament, show career, etc.
Clayton's get is, for the most part, still very young. At least three are Herding Instinct Certified. One, Ch. Row-Bar's Southern Dream HIC, received an Award of Merit at the 2000 CCA National Specialty Show at 14 months of age. His last champion to finish, Ch. Row-Bar's Red Hot Skyline, owned by Thelma Spears, finished his title in tough California competition, winning two specialty majors on the same weekend.
