Hi, I'm Brian! I'm 2 to 3 years-old. Everyone here
at rescue including my foster mom says I'm one
of the nicest collies you'll ever meet! I've had a bit
of a tough run lately. I was a hit by a car. Guess I
didn't know that the car wouldn't stop and let me cross
the road! My left front leg got fractured. Since my
people didn't take me to a doggy doctor after I
got hurt, I need a more complicated type of
surgery to fix it. My nice, new rescue friends are
taking me to the specialist to make me all better.
I did get some good news lately. I got tested for
heartworm when I went in to be tutored (maybe
the word was neutered). Hey, you have to keep your
sense of humor. I'm in pain right now but I never let it
spoil my gentle nature! I'll be all well soon and can
be someone's great pal for life!

Many avenues are available to assist collie rescue organizations near you or nationally through the Collie Rescue Foundation. Of course, monetary donations are always needed and appreciated to help pay for spay/neuter, worming, heartworm treatment and preventative, vaccinations, surgeries, and food. There are, however, many ways to assist rescue such as donating supplies, offering to foster, helping to transport, as well as offering services and expertise.
