COLLIE QUOTE
As a child I remember dogs sired by Ch. El Troubador and Ch. Cock Robin of Arken among the earliest dogs bought for me by my parents. A man in Denver had brought these bloodlines into Colorado; early Bellhaven, Tazewell, Blangsted and Kelmar were the first bloodlines we took into Wyoming. The Collies we used on these ranches in later years were linebred from these early dogs, with an occasional outcross to retain vitality and hold type. Basically the dogs we used for herding were descendants of these early lines; these were the dogs from which the Wind-Call Collies were developed.
