THE 49th and 50th KEM MEMORIAL SWEEPSTAKES

May 12 and 13, 2007 -- Judges Tim Garrison and Pati Merrill

Hosted by the Indiana Collie Club

The 49th and 50th Kem Memorial Sweepstakes were held this year on Saturday, May 12 and Sunday May 13, in Edinburgh, Indiana. Tim Garrison judged the Saturday Sweepstakes and Pati Merrill judged on Sunday. Best In Sweepstakes at both events was the tri rough dog, CH Fantasy's Rising Dragon bred and owned by Debbie Holland and Jody Ostrowski-Greenberg. He is sired by CH Fleur-De-Lis's Secret Weapon, out of CH Fantasy's Key To My Heart.

The first Kem was held in 1958 and was hosted by The Indiana Collie Club. It was first designed so that the Collie Clubs in the Tri State Area (Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio) could host the Kem on a yearly rotation. The Kem is one of the oldest Collie Sweepstakes and the only one that requires the judge to be an AKC licensed judge. Below we have the results from the 2005 Kem plus the Kem Sweepstakes Honor Roll.

Breeders Directory Listing
There are two ways to advertise on Collies Online. Breeders can advertise their kennel by purchasing a Breeders Directory Listing for $75 and updating their litter news throughout the year. The listings are organized by state and have proven very effective for breeders all over the country.

Display Advertising including preferred positioning
The second way to advertise is by purchasing display ad space in our advertising tunnel. The lead ad in the tunnel is by reservation only and costs $100. The second, third and fourth position are also preferred positions and cost $75. Ads in the fifth position and beyond cost $50. Pay with PayPal, check or credit card
We accept payments by check, payable to "Collies Online" or online through PayPal. If you want to pay with your credit card you don't need a PayPal account but you can still use the PayPal application.

Publishing schedule and advertising copy
Display ads are published on Saturday and appear in the ad tunnel for a week, on the contents page for a month and then in the ad archive for a year.

By sending us a photo and ad copy either via e-mail or snail mail, we can design an attractive ad for you or you can submit your ad finished.
