Meet " Finnegan" from
Cascade Collie Rescue
If you ask me, I'm a very handsome young smooth collie boy. I came to Cascade Collie Rescue from Houston Collie Rescue after being given up along with my kennel mates to the SPCA there. I am making big strides in learning to socialize with my foster family. I feel less anxious and I'm relishing the good life of great meals, walks to the park, playing with abandon and soaking up lots of attention. I must admit, I have one flaw, my eyes are small and there were concerns about my sight, but, the eye doctor has given me a good report. So my vision is fine but my sight is restricted by the size of my eyes. I have a great disposition and get along very well with other dogs. I enjoy meeting new people and am becoming more confident with humans. I am not used to being around children, so I should be adopted by a family with no small kids. I have great indoor manners and I am house broken. If I could say so myself, I am a wonderful young dog who will make a fun and faithful forever friend.
Cascade Collie Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit collie rescue organization serving Oregon and SW Washington. For more information about Finnegan you can reach us at www.cascadecollierescue.org or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com
Many avenues are available to assist collie rescue organizations near you or nationally through the Collie Rescue Foundation. Of course, monetary donations are always needed and appreciated to help pay for spay/neuter, worming, heartworm treatment and preventative, vaccinations, surgeries, and food. There are, however, many ways to assist rescue such as donating supplies, offering to foster, helping to transport, as well as offering services and expertise.
