CC of British Columbia holds Collie Fun Day
The Collie Club of British Columbia held its first Collie Fun Day on September 15, 2007.  The focus of the day was social, both for club members and their dogs. By giving this event, billed as "Collies jus' Wanna have fun," a non-conformation focus, the CCBC opened the event to members who just love their Collies, as well as die hard conformation enthusiasts. The club also extended an invitation to Collies from the Okanagan Collie Rescue and were pleased with the turnout from that organization. The club would like to extend its thanks to Jim and Susan Bertrand for opening up their home for the event and send its appreciation to everyone who attended.  Follow the link below to view the photos and a video from the event.

Rescue: Saturday's Collie
COL is proud to introduce a new weekly feature available to Collie Rescue Organizations across the country, free of charge, called Saturday's Collie. Every week we will feature a collie from a 501c3 rescue with a photo or two and a bio describing the collie's story and personality. Contact us to reserve a space for your organization, and we will let you know when your rescue collie will appear. We recognize that there are hundreds of deserving collies rescued yearly by dedicated groups who restore collies to health, revive their collie character, and match them with new homes. We'd love to include as many rescues as possible and will continue to feature new collies every Saturday of the month, as long as groups keep sending them.

ADVERTISE ON COL

Breeders Directory Listing
There are two ways to advertise on Collies Online. Breeders can advertise their kennel by purchasing a Breeders Directory Listing for $75 and updating their litter news throughout the year. The listings are organized by state and have proven very affective for breeders all over the country.

Display Advertising including preferred position
The second way to advertise is by purchasing display ad space in our advertising tunnel. The lead ad in the tunnel is by reservation only and costs $100. The second, third and fourth position are also preferred positions and cost $75. Ads in the fifth position and beyond cost $50.

Pay with PayPal, check or credit card
We accept payments by check, payable to "Collies Online" or online through PayPal. If you want to pay with your credit card you don't need a PayPal account but you can still use the PayPal application.

Publishing schedule and advertising copy
Display ads are published on Saturday and appear in the ad tunnel for a week, on the contents page for a month and then in the ad archive for a year.

By sending us a photo and ad copy either via e-mail or snail mail, we can design an attractive ad for you or you can submit your ad finished.

Contact us by e-mail at ColliesOnline@fastmail.us for lead-page availability or specs if you are designing your own ad.

Each extra photo is $10 and you can enhance your ad with a pedigree for an additional $10.
